I was born and raised in Amarillo, Tx and became a Christian at age 17.  I attended Texas Tech University and was an officer in the United States Marine Corps.  I then returned to Amarillo in 1975 and have worked as an accountant from 1976 to the present. I married my wonderful wife, Kathie, in 1984.  We have four children and five grandchildren. I served as a deacon in an Orthodox Presbyterian Church for 32 years, a Reformed Baptist Church for 3 years and as an elder in Redeemer Presbyterian Church for approximately 5 years.  The love of God in Christ Jesus as proclaimed from the pulpit is of paramount importance to my wife and to me.
