Dr. David E. Gatz
I was born in San Francisco, Ca. at the Presidio hospital in 1957 on the Army post. I grew up in Pratt, Ks. where my dad was a veterinarian. I attended K-12 in Pratt, then received my B.S. in Animal Science in 1980 and my D.V.M. in 1984 from Kansas State University. I moved to Amarillo after graduation and practiced at Amarillo Veterinary Clinic. My wife, Cindy and I were married in 1988. We have two children, Aaron and Bethany. Our son lives in Lewisville, Texas and our daughter lives in K.C. Missouri. We moved away in 1990 to West Virginia then to Leavenworth, Kansas where I practiced until 2017. I became a Christian in 2002 at a Methodist Church. We moved back to Amarillo in 2018. We searched for a reformed church and found Redeemer PCA. We are now very pleased we found such a church faithful to Biblical worship and teaching. My goal as an elder is to be available for those who need help and to strive for the purity, peace, unity and edification of the Church as it is outlined in the BCO.
